Our service helps you apply psychological perspectives, improve relationships, and explore your curiosity about yourself and life. Because we use advanced Artificial Intelligence to power these conversations, we need to set clear ground rules. Please read these Terms of Use carefully. By creating an account, logging in, or using myUDDA, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. ### 1. Nature of the Service and Strict Non-Clinical Boundary myUDDA is explicitly a service for self-help, coaching, and personal growth. We are NOT a psychological, medical, or clinical provider. myUDDA cannot and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental illness, chronic state, or medical condition requiring professional aid. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, severe distress, or require professional medical care, you must seek help from a qualified healthcare professional or emergency service immediately. myUDDA is a tool for reflection and inspiration, not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment. ### 3. AI Disclaimers and Assumption of Risk We use Artificial Intelligence to generate responses, insights, and audio. While we strive to provide helpful guidance, AI can be wrong. It can misunderstand context, make illogical leaps, or generate "hallucinations" where it presents factually incorrect information in a convincing manner. Therefore, you agree to the following: - The "Grain of Salt" Principle: Any recommendation, insight, or claim made by myUDDA should be taken with a grain of salt. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy, truthfulness, and applicability of any statement generated by the AI before acting on it. - Assumption of Risk: You use the guidance provided by myUDDA entirely at your own risk. Feel the grow AB is not liable for any decisions, actions, or emotional outcomes resulting from your use of the service. ### 4. Your Account, Infrastructure, and Data Choices We are building myUDDA to give you ultimate control over your experience and your data. By using the service, you understand and agree to how our technical architecture handles your interactions: - Your Responsibility: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. - Our Core Infrastructure: We store your chat history and audio recordings in Supabase, which is a managed cloud database running on servers in Frankfurt or Stockholm. For vector and graph data, we use Qdrant and Neo4j, which are self-hosted on Upcloud Kubernetes strictly on EU servers. For voice interactions, we use our own self-hosted Livekit server, utilizing WebRTC for voice calls and websockets for data transfer. - AI Model Selection: Our default setup utilizes open-source AI models (such as Mistral, Groq, or Nscale) running on EU infrastructure. We may offer you the ability to switch your AI model to providers like Anthropic or Google Vertex AI. By choosing to use these non-default models, you are making an informed decision to send your prompts and data to their servers, which may be subject to different geographic processing rules. - Third-Party Processing: To provide features like voice generation and transcription, we may use providers such as Deepgram, Cartesia, or ElevenLabs. When we use third-party providers located outside of the EU, we configure the API to set data retention to zero and restrict them from using or selling your data to train their models, to the maximum extent permitted by our current service tier agreements with those providers. ### 5. Payments and Subscriptions If you choose to purchase a premium subscription or credits, payments will be processed securely through our designated third-party payment provider, Creem ([creem.io](http://creem.io)). By initiating a transaction, you agree to their processing terms. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise strictly required by Swedish or EU consumer protection laws. ### 6. Acceptable Use and User Conduct We want myUDDA to be a safe space for everyone. By using myUDDA, you agree to comply strictly with our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) (), which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference. myUDDA is a personal growth and self-reflection tool only. You may not use myUDDA to generate, request, store, share, or distribute sexually explicit, pornographic, NSFW, or sexually suggestive content — including through text conversations, voice interactions, or any AI-generated output. We do not offer uncensored, unfiltered, or adult-oriented AI generation. As a brief summary, you agree not to use myUDDA to: - Generate, promote, or distribute illegal content, hate speech, or harassment. - Generate, request, or distribute sexually explicit, pornographic, NSFW, or sexually suggestive content through any feature of the service. - Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, "jailbreak," or maliciously exploit our AI models, servers, or any part of our infrastructure, or to bypass our safety filters to obtain prohibited outputs. - Create deepfakes or impersonate others without consent using our voice technologies. - Use the service if you are under the legal age of consent in your jurisdiction without explicit parental approval. If you violate the Acceptable Use Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately without a refund or prior notice. ### 7. Limitation of Liability We are working hard to build a great service, but we provide myUDDA "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not promise that the service will be perfect, uninterrupted, or entirely error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Feel the grow AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of your use or inability to use the service. ### 8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stockholm, Sweden. ### 9. Changes to These Terms As myUDDA grows, adds new AI models, or evolves its technical infrastructure, we may need to update these Terms of Use. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification. By continuing to use myUDDA after those changes are published, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
